Lower Prices
We provide 2 cremation options. Variety Solo is a direct unattended cremation. Variety Plus is an attended cremation with a service at any crematoria of your choosing.
We offer the same Lower Price across England and Wales meaning you do not have to pay higher prices because of where you live.
Because Variety Funerals™ do not have branches we can discount our prices and pass the savings to you. We use state of the art mortuary facilities across England and Wales working with a network of local funeral professionals.
Insurance
Variety Funerals™ is a fully insured business. Our Professional Indemnity Insurance provides cover of £1 million per claim and is provided by AXA XL Insurance Company UK Limited.

We’ll tailor a bespoke quote to your needs, with no credit checks required. Lock in your wishes and provide some peace of mind for your loved ones.
Pre-paid funeral plans offer fixed costs, while immediate arrangements reflect current rates.
Everyone over 18 years old is eligible and your money is protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Fantastic service, the team was in contact every step of the way, to inform us of what was happening to Dad. We even got a message on the morning of Dad’s cremation. Local crematorium to us was used, and Dad’s ashes were presented to us beautifully.

Yes. The cremation can take place at any crematoria of your choosing in England and Wales.
A minimum payment is required to appoint Variety Funerals™. We do NOT store your card details. When you pay by credit or debit card the card details are input into the Worldpay system which is PCI compliant meaning your card details are secure and can not be viewed by anyone.
When you pay for a product or service using your credit or debit card you are protected by the Visa and MasterCard guarantees which means if the product or service is not provided you will get your money back.
No. Our Variety packages include the coffin type in the Lower Price.
No. The wooden coffins we use are mass produced which means the cost is cheaper due to the economies of scale achieved from coffin manufacture in large quantities.
The coffins Variety Funerals™ use have gained Funeral Furnishings Manufacturer’s Association (FFMA) Certification, meaning our coffins are approved for cremation in the UK.
Cardboard coffins are manufactured in smaller numbers and to support the weight of the deceased the cardboard has to be very thick; for these reasons cardboard coffins are more expensive and not included in Variety Funerals™ cremation packages.
It is mandatory for the deceased to be cremated in a coffin. This is because cremators are constructed to hold the deceased in a coffin. It is not possible for the deceased to be cremated in a body bag or shroud; a coffin must be used.
